CMS West is one of the absolute best middle schools in the entire state of Texas, certainly the best in Coppell. This does not happen with just the money allocated by the state. In fact, Coppell ISD sends millions of dollars to the state, and out of our Coppell District, as part of the Robin Hood program to fund lower income districts.
To enrich our students’ education, each year we raise funds to provide our children with more and better technology, athletic equipment, classroom equipment, author visits, field trips, books, and many more programs that make West the special school that it is.

Last year, we used this money to more effectively implement technology seamlessly into the curriculum. As an additional benefit, the CISD Educational Foundation matched our technology expenses dollar for dollar. Your donation also brought several programs to West including; Aim for Success, Kids Prov, Winners Inc., Critterman, Civil War and Science in the Movies. This funding also provided snacks for all the students as they took their state assessments. Additionally, the PTO was able to grant teacher requests for specific tools to enhance students’ learning experiences.

Our goal each year is to raise $20,000. The CMSW PTO values contributions of any amount and understands that changes in today’s economy may make it a challenge to participate. Your Write-A-Check contribution is 100% tax-deductible and may even be matched by your employer. See below for a list of companies that have matched gifts in the past.
