Library

The PTO is proud to support the CMSWest Library by providing funds for the purchase of high interest, newly released books, and providing volunteer administrative support throughout the year.

Our PTO Library Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for coordinating volunteers with the Librarian to schedule work in the Library. Volunteers assist with shelving books, recovering books, helping students/classes, relocating books, and computer input.

The PTO also provides support for specific Library programs such as:

• The Fall/Spring Book Fairs
• Student Book Clubs
• Grade Level Book Clubs
• Manga/Anime Book Club
• Texas Lone Star Reading Lists
• Author Visits, like:
  - Gordon Korman, author visit in October
  - Alexander London, Skype author visit in November
